Tuesday, January 10, 2012, was a big day for the 14th annual Summit Against Racism. Kenneth Miller handed out 100s of leaflets and talked about the Summit downtown. B&WR members went to county council to receive a proclamation/PDF of the proclamation. Later, B&WR members gathered at EPLC and saw that 1,200 piece mailing roll out the door.
Freda Ellis was recognized as a Model of Commitment and Service at the 3rd Annual Tributary of the Martin Luther King Jr. Reading and Cultural Center. Congratulations Freda!
